The initial instability of eyelashes, due to semi-motoric movement of the eyelid, forms an enforced creational process of a body part, humankind is usually aware of as being non-motoric.
The eyelid takes on a role of being controllable to certain extend, which means that one can consciously move it as well as having to take action automatically by motoric bodily requests.
Cross-referencing the body as a technological interface and the philosophical aspects of such, one finds himself in an environment of sub-/consciousness being reinfluenced by the results of itself. The output of the device is constant and linear, which means that hardly the exact same sound/image will be achieved twice. Therefore the exact input through the device will never be duplicated.
Scanlash consists of a head worn device and custom software which monitor the movement of the eyelid and lashes of the user.
